I finally managed to get my hands on a paper copy on the latest edition of the Lonely Planet Florence & Tuscany travel guide, on which I spent much of last year working on. After more than a decade spent living abroad, rediscovering the region I grew up in has been a rewarding experience – despite the overload of information I found myself processing. A compressed version of this guide forms the Tuscany chapter of the Lonely Planet Italy guide, which has also been recently updated. Now, time to test the book on the ground.
